PhotoCritique [Traduire]
Bonjour Mireille,
First of all thank You very much for Your kind words about my comeback image. I see here we were thinking about the same theme... a minimalistic composition with yellow flower(s) and the sky only. Your pic's great, I like it, quite effective as a photo - although the closest petals became a bit oof (out of focus) and You cropped a bit of the petal on the right. Not big mistakes, but something to be alert of. Anyway, tfs.
Best regards from Hungary, László
Bonjour Marylou,
It's so good to see You again, and it's very nice You still remembered me. Thanks for Your kind words on my comeback.
Really atmospheric shot, quite different from the type I used to critique on TrekNature. :) But the color harmony and sharpness are awesome, so is the whole composition, even if I find the crop on the top a bit narrow. But otherwise a stunner. Merci du partager.
Best regards from Your old Hungarian friend, László
Hi Paras,
Getting back to TL after such a long break, this is the 1st time I see Your gallery. But from what I found here, I'm sure not the last... This is absolutely a stunner, my Friend. Perfect composition, awesome color harmony - and You know yellow is my favorite. :) I bookmark this image with a little green star, it's a professional-looking shot. Everything's great here, maybe except for a little background noise, but the beauty of nature You offer here is beyond words. Bravo.
Thanks for Your opinion on my latest post. For me it's absolutely no problem if You write me unrated critiques. I'm not interested in the point system at all, I'm only interested in others' honest opinions, either good or bad, to improve my skills as a photographer.
Best wishes from Hungary, László
Hi Frank,
So good to see You again. Great concert shot, although by my opinion the crop isn't the most perfect, there's still too much from the light remained. Just a personal thought, of course. Otherwise I like Your image, both ISO 1600 and 1/100 sec. were great choices (though 153 KB is a bit small compared to the 300 KB limit).
Best regards from Your Hungarian friend, László
Hi Foozi,
Great You're here, too, just found Your account. It's so pity I don't have so much sparetime to be active on both TN and here. Great photo, the contrast between the dark background and the bright flowers is simply awesome. Bravo.
Best wishes from Your TN friend, László
Hi Barea Bayram again,
If someone looks at Your gallery without reading Your intro, (s)he may think You're an insectologist, not a herpetologist, because You have so many insect photos in Your gallery. :) Don't take me wrong, it isn't a mistake, most of all if they're on such high quality as this one. Great playing with lights and shadows, nice diagonal compo, OK sharpness. Reminding me to my (currently) last TN-upload, only the butterfly and pebbles. But this is, by my opinion, good this way, I like minimalistic compos very much.
Tfs this beautiful shot, best wishes, László
Merhaba Bayram Barea,
Excellent shot. The tulip seems like growing from the desert... Very interesting. Simple minimalistic compo, but why overdo things if / where simplicity works?! Wonderful POV, sharpness and color contrast. Bravo. And tfs a pic of the ancestor of cultivated tulips. I've only heard about this plant before, but have never seen it.
Best wishes from Your Hungarian barea, László
Hi Jusni,
Even the rule of thirds wasn't conformed, as You said, this is a fantastic pic, I at least like this kind of landscapes so much with nature and road. I myself should have composed the road a bit more centered, but I admit the compo's nice as it is, too. Really spectacular tropical scene. Should be very good to visit the forest on the left side and photographing fungi and butterflies. :)
Tfs, and congrats for the great work. Best regards from Your Hungarian friend, László
Hi Joop,
Yes, 'trekks' and 'daisydaisy' are totally right, I shouldn't like to repeat their words. I only add to this masterpiece: partial desaturation and centering the learning old lady are both non plus ultras. Your pic tells us a whole story, even without the note. Huge bravo, my Friend, I bookmark this image with a little green star. :)
Best wishes from Hungary, László

Hi Oana,
Beautiful view of the tower and roofs. I don't fully agree with "Reflex", in some cases centered composition isn't a problem at all. I find the crop (and the whole image) quite effective, nice, with great color contrast, so for me it absolutely works. Tfs.
