|portrait of a young azarbaijan guide in the Caucao Mountain in high key|
Not sure if this can be called high key, but never mind, I like it anyway.
Hello Juan :o)
Wonderful portrait ! Great sharpness and details. A good choice for B&W, congrat :o)
ps : I put you in my composition of friends :o)
Interesting portrait, an idea and very realization appeal to me.
nice light portrait shot
not that easy
like the pose and well maybe the background is a little to white
but overall its ok

A very good portrait, where the blown-out background is perfect for showing off the B&W details of the face. A harsh treatment, but it works well, conveying the ruggedness of the guide.
Also, you cropped the shot so that a vertical bisector of the frame passes through one of his eyes, a technique used by master portrait painters. Was that instinctual or deliberate on your part? (I read about this in a book called Math and the Mona Lisa, by Bulent Atalay.)
