Wow that food looks so good. I love how you used natural lighting here coming in softly from the left to really bring out the colors and also the contours of the waffle, the butter (that's a lot of butter...), and the coffee mug. Beautiful tones as a result and the metering and contrasts are great. Nice dark background to make everything pop out more and really good detail and sharpness. The low point of view at-level with the coffee mug makes the waffle not only look bigger but also lets us see the textures and details of the food. Good to have the waffle sitting at a slight angle in the shot for balance and composition. Unfortunately, I think the unity or continuity of the compo was a bit disrupted by the cropping of the waffle at the bottom left. I think it would be best to include that corner of the waffle. Otherwise a stunning and appealling shot, TFS!
