Le regard sombre d'un ange provenant de l'ancienne Grand-Poste de Bruxelles, détruite en 1903. Maintenant dans le parc de la Dodaine à Nivelles, mais fort abîmé !
Sculpteur : C. Desanfans, 1845-1938

Hi Jean,
Intereting treatment to this old sculpture. It is nice to know a little of its history and to see that it is still in pretty good shape. Except for the arm that is. The texture and composition are very good, and I like the lighting. I think that it would have been even nicer if you only applied your PP on the statue and not on the sky.
TFS,
Niek

Good Morning Jean,

An interesting treatment of the statue which has wonderful details of colour and texture.
I particularly like how you have closely cropped it, to make it fill the frame with its statement.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Jean.
Le traitement de cette image est bonne réussite et le cadrage serré adapté.
La saturation douce est aussi parfaite pour mettre en valeur cette réussite.
Bonne journée.
Urs

Angels have a tough job:) I like the initial impression of this image, and it increases in interest with study. The light quality and color palette work well together. The bare tree branches in the background add to the mood. There is a depth of gaze in the angel's eyes...and perhaps hope?:)

Salut Jean!

Ideal low pov, perfect sharp colours, lighting and
textured details!Very suitable title!
