[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
still in my B&W series, here the roofs of Dubrovnik
I'm not a specialist
be honest, please,
I don't need points, but I need tips !
you are invited to edit your version
my PP is B&W conversion, crop out the top, less gamma, more contrast, dark tones emphasized
my attempt is to make the tiles more contrasted (whiter and darker) without burn the sky
if you have tips, ideas, you are welcomed to add a WS, you can work on this version in WS
it could be interesting to see how different people do and I hope there will be people playing the game

Jean,
Good composition. If you want to enhance the roof tiles, you should select the sky, invert selection, and than work brightness and contrast as much as you want, without blowing the sky.
Cheers,
Wellington

Excellent picture of the texture and archetecture. Good B&W work.

Very nice perspective !!! As I like the red tones, I propose an other version in workshop (with more light and saturation on the dark tree in front of the picture). Very nice idea !!! Thanks for sharing
Greetings
Jean

Bon jour Jean,

It's time to go back to bed, or I might attempt a workshop for contrast. :O) zzzzzzz! However, I will say that I especially like the B&W version because of the wonderful shapes in the tiles, which I don't think are captured in the color photo.

in boca a lupo!

Richard

Salut Jc
Amicalement
Antoine

hi jean.

looks ok to me but i have done as you asked.
see ws for my view.
Brian

Halo Jean,
Tu as fait un travail magnifique avec le B&N de la photographie. La luminosité et la profondeur sont des excellences.
Salut
Amadeu

Fantástico panorama de tjados en perspectiva que parece te llevan hacia la cúpula del fondo.

Hello Jean Christophe !
Beautiful contrast and colours!
Very like it!
Grat!

What a clever idea to post a photo for the sole purpose of seeing how differently we all manipulate images Jean!
I'm not very advanced with PP and only did what I usually do, but it is certainly interesting to see other people's ideas.

Hello
Çok güzel çekmişsiniz.

Haktan...

Hi Jo,

Nice work, love the framing and grey scale here. I saw all of the workshops and I think I like your version the best, the second place for Brian. That's it :)
Best,
Iza

Hi Jean,

I think your b&w is pretty good but lost some details in the tree, window-blinds on the right side by getting too dark there.
I posted a workshop with my detailed workflow.
I'm curious ... :)

Best regards,
Attila
