I'm still with my B&W tries, and I learned a lot about it the last past weeks
this one is done with layers & quite complicated masks to emphasize what was already in the photo, the big contrast of light between the light around the mill and the dark foreground (enlightened a bit by the river)

the mood was very interesting in color version, so if you want to see, check the WS

Voici une composition dramatique a souhait. L'aspect désolé de ce paysage douché par une belle averse est a peine contrebalancé par la lumière a droite qui met bien en évidence l'éolienne. La version en couleurs est a peine plus colorée que la noir et blanc et je trouve que ces maigres couleurs n'apportent pas grand chose a la compo. La version B&W est donc pour moi la meilleure, même si elle est beaucoup moins détaillée dans les parties sombres du premier plan, mais c'était sans doute voulu. Bon boulot

Hi Jean.
Very well composed silhuette shot. There is so much in this picture, a lot to catch the eye, but at the samen time some fine leading lines.
Excellent composition.
