[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
i've done a lot of different versions of this snapshot photo which is VERY croped, never spent so much time on a quite bad (for some reasons) photo like this, never been satisfied, maybe this one is my preferate for today, and i add two other versions in WS... i did that photo first for the architecture and you see just a small part of the original framing, but then i had the idea to focus on this boy in the shadow, so a lot of PP has been applied here

I think you saved it. :o)
It's all very interesting but the boy with his one leg frozen in motion against the very permanent and fixed architecture adds a bit of drama to the whole thing.
Good PP work, this one works because of it. :)

Hello Jonathan.
This is really interesting shot with great potential and mood.
I tried a workshop to show my vision. I hope you will like it.

Hello Jonathan,
Like this shot very much, subdued colours, and strong contrast.
Plus the little boy in action, make this an interesting image.
Keep it Up.

I like the expression on the kid's face. He brings something to the photo that I like. In addition to his expression, it may be his "mod" boots in contrast to the ancient street.

Richard

You did a great job with the crop on this Jonathan.
Very effective with just the boy in the scene.
Great architecural details and lines and curves,
so much to take in with this shot yet it's simple and elegant.
Really well done.

Bonjour jonathan

Good partial desaturation, with superb pp work, & excellent sharpness and lighting. I like the curve of the cobbled street, sweeping around to the left. The boy acts as a good focal point. Beau travail!

Bonjour Jonathan,

I like this photo and can certainly appreciate all the work you have done. I also viewed the workshop photos and like each of them for different individual reasons. I really like the mood that all of the muted tones bring out in this photo, a little mysterious to me.

thanks for sharing, Lisa

Good one Jo,very well seen and captured this moment the mood looks a bit depressing and dramatic and thats what \I like about this posting.
jan

It has a pleasant composition. Colors and sharpness ofcoarse are a bit degraded from the PP.

Pedro
