Postcard-perfect once more. Beautifully composed - the diagonal lead-in of the street from the lower left leads the eye up to the basilica, itself very strongly placed in the frame.

Terrific timing with the light, with the foreground in shadow and the basilica itself hit by sunlight.

Not easy to see a picture of Basilica di San Pietro but in a sunny day!
So your capture has this plus, in my opinion: grey day better focuses on the church front the sunrays coming out from the clouds.

Voilà un point de vue peu exploité et pourtant joli et original à la fois. Les clichés habituels nous font croire que la basilique se dresse au milieu d'un grand espace alors que les habitations se pressent tout autour. Ceci, tu as su le capter avec cet angle.
