|The answer to the British Motor Industry’s woes – just do what these people have done -and invest in an Austin!|
These are all Austin ‘Devon’ cars built between 1947 and 1952 pictured at Longbridge at a gathering to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the model.
For many of these cars it was the first time they had been back to Longbridge since they were made. We (the Austin Counties Car Club) gathered over forty cars on this day.
Scanned using Nikon Coolscan, resized and sharpened.

All "Devons", eh? I bet there's a "Dorset" in there somewhere!
A great shot but is Doris there? I've only seen a monochrome picture of her but I suspect she might be white or cream.
Yes, this is a very good shot indeed considering that it has been scanned: was this scanned from a print, a negative or a colour slide?
As you say, "You buy a car, but you invest in an Austin"
Lovely! Keep them coming!

You are bringing me sraight back into the 50s Les,great setting and colors.
You too you like the trains, well done, I will commented this image... :-)
I really like this image with this succession of old cars. The image is perhaps just a bit pale. I propose then a WS.
The image with collections of objects or persons are often interesting. I think that you have a good composition for the image.
It's a good image, in addition, there are the potential behind.
Thx for sharing.
