Hi Tom,
Too bad about the focus. I've had the same problem taking photos of my dog sometimes. But cute is cute nonetheless.

Hi Tom,
Very cute shot, but her mom is out of focus.

I'm with Lisa, too bad about the focus, but again, too cute! And I'm a sucker for kittens, and I think I've converted Lisapw...lol

the title says it all, and of course the thumbnail looks better. you could take the portrait a little further away and then crop to the distance you want, you would have got more dof.

Hi Tom,
An excellent shot, though as you yourself said the focus could be better. Good colours though, and a very pleasant scene. Cute models ;) The entire composition, with its tight crop is captivating. Well, the title says everything we need to know about the kittens :) Well done, congratulations!

Hello Tom,
I love cats and these kittens are too cute. You did well taking the shot in such a contained space.
Good compo with the tight crop.

For a blind shot this turned out quite well. The expressions on their faces are priceless. It looks like they were a bit surprised to see your clever camera trick to capture them in their hideout. Thanks for the awwwwwwww moment:)
Edit: I decided to try a little selective sharpening to see what would happen. Posted the results in a workshop. It is just a quick experiment...not sure if there are any better solutions.

This is so cute, I really like the composition and how you caught them sunbathing. Light metering is very good. Focus isn't great but I see your note.

Nice shot, especially since you took it blind. It's a shame that the focus is on the one at the back, but it's still a nice candid shot.
The grey one is called Elsie and the ginge was called Enoch when you saw him, but is now Albert. Don't ask me why.
Cheers, John.

Hello Tom.
A very cute picture of thiese nice cats.
Pity use udes a too wide lens opening (4.5) to get both sharp in the picture. In this case better to use a smaller opening.
Best wishes from Jan
