Hi Brian,

Lucky you, so you have now abandoned me and left me dying with man flu.
I know this area well, you have captured a lovely moody shot that is probably better than if it were a very bright sunlit day, very evocative, hope you captured some crackers from you know where.

Douglas

I really like the tones and the composition of this picture. I just regret the tilted horizon and the top of the tree which is cut. A wider angle would help in this case. Anyway, great shot, good athmosphere.

Hi Brian,
Great shot of the tree, nice and moody, great DoF and PoV, the water looks like a mirror, fantastic colours with your PP and filters. TFS

Hi Bro,
Wonderful of this typical tree. never seen such a tree with it´s feet in the water. The light is superb, even like the brightness and contrast. Excellent well balanced composition too. I added this picture to my favorite ones :-)

Hi Brian,
What a magical atmosphere and what a phenomenon this tree growing in water!
A nice warm and soft old pinkish cast adorned with marvelous subdued lighting.
Very sharp image dissolving into a misty horizon!
Great neat presentation enclosed in an elegant frame.
I like it!
Best regards,

Francis Xavier

Boa noite Brian

Hi Trampas, you must have read The Virginian.Highly dramatic composition perfectly realized.Regards Otto.

Beautiful capture - I love the colour tones and the calm and lonely mood. The centred composition really works here - great work.

the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond...was there in 1990..too long ago.

the dark atmosphere and the dark-silhouetted tree are amazing, really great job here,
just the centered view and the cut-off
branches on the top are the only minor nits to be picked.

you take the high road & i´ll take the low road...
have a great sunday, thor.
