[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
This is Whitby Abbey in Yorkshire. The site of the famous Bram Stoker Dracula novel where Whitby is said to be the landing place for the fictional Count Dracula on his arrival into England from Transylvania.

This was taken on a cold October and I had made the fatal error of leaving my camera and lenses overnight in the boot of the car. When I removed the wide angle lens to fit my 28-200mm zoom, the sensor & mirror misted up. It took a good 30 minutes or so to clear before I could fit the lens and take this image. Tip of the day - don't leave you camera in a cold car overnight.

This image has been slightly cropped and some dust spots cloned out, so very little PP work.

Hi Dai
This ruined abbey is a great subject and its reflectiln is a nice plus.

Hi Dai,
A lovely clear sharp image and a great PoV- at f9.0 I would have expected the plants in the FG to also be sharp

Nice shot Dai. I remember all the steps we had to climb to get to the abbey. We lived in Yorkshire and Whitby and Scarborough were always good for a day out. On the subject of cold lenses. If you have been out on a cold day it is helpful to put your equipment into a freezer bag when you take it indoors This allows it to warm up gradually without the condensation.

Hello Dai

Like the idea behind the image with the abbey. I feel that the entire reflection would be more appropriate for this portrait. The flora in the foreground still gives your image the much needed punch. Nice
