[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
The predator taken while in Iraq. Please excuse the over exposed outside, when it's 140 degrees outside and brighter than anything I've ever seen in my life. It's hard to not overexpose with a point and shoot.

For more info on the MQ-1, see http://www.af.mil/factsheets/factsheet.asp?fsID=122

I do not expect to find this in an add for the Predator but thanks for posting on here you got a shot that shows some aspect of life as you defend the USA and bring freedom to others thanks for sharing and thanks for doing what you do. I doubt the laying on the concrete three quarters view shot was doable under the conditions you took the photo in without getting burned or withotu getting in trouble.

Probably shouldn't even be commenting on this, but ...

Technically not a good shot, the background actually looks sharper than the subject, the OE in my opinion just makes it an image that shouldn't have made it to these pages.

In terms of subject choice, I can honestly say I really, really hate it, this murder weapon stands as a symbol for a whole pile of policies and aggressions that go against almost everything I believe in.

Please remember this is a critique of the photograph, not in any way a comment on the photographer.

Please try to ignore others letting their personal politics/morals influence who/what they critique on TL.

My father fought in WW2 and my brother served in Bosnia, Northern Ireland and elsewhere - I am sure there are those who would condemn my father had he posted a shot from his battleship. You have my respect.

The OE is unattractive, for sure, but we have to bear in mind the circumstances and the equipment you were using. I do like the unusual point of view and I find the subject matter interesting - the construction of the plane is really quite unusual.
