This is fine work, with excellent metering. The water droplets are perfectly frozen and I really like the placement of the sun. You were brave to take your equipment out into the waves, glad nothing bad happened.

how many shots you took before you got perfect one as this, Ian? excellent work.. i love it.. so sharp. fantastic focus and exposure.. i still can see clearly your wife's shoulder from the left even in silhouette.. yes i may have seen photos taken like this.. but of course you can see the different.. she reminded me of sea nymph or siren.. well done :)

I know you say this is a "cliche" shot, but I think your version is one of the best I have seen. Excellent timing, wonderful rich colours and a feeling of sensual motion all captured in a great shot.
