[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
The Montmorency Falls (French: Chute Montmorency) form a large waterfall in Quebec, Canada, Located near Quebec City. The falls, at 84 meters (275 ft) high, are the highest in the province of Quebec and 30 m (98 ft) higher than Niagara Falls. The basin at the foot of the falls is 17 m (56 ft) deep. The falls are at the mouth of the Montmorency River where it drops over the cliff shore into the Saint Lawrence River, opposite the western end of the Île d'Orleans. The falls were given this name in 1613 by Samuel de Champlain. He named them in honour of Henri II, duc de Montmorency, who served as viceroy of New France from 1620 until 1625.
There are staircases that allow visitors to view the falls from several different perspectives. A suspension bridge over the crest of falls provides access to both sides of the park as well as a spectacular view.

Hi Tsilla,
I have not heard much of the Montmorency Falls and I am glad you posted this. The falls look mighty impressive, there is good compositional balance from the bridge atop and the view deck below, and of course yo metered the water optimally. Well done,
Danilo

Hi Tsilla,

Great capture of the water with wonderful colors and great dynamism, my friend!
The green bushes in the FG gives great contrast to the milky water, falling with great energy. I like the hanging bridge on the top of the waterfall.

Well seen.

best wishes,
Paras

Hi Tsilla
Not of of the biggest falls but surely one that you can't miss being so close to the road.
Years ago before they erected the fence and the tourist platforms, whenever we drove through we would stop and picnic as it was the perfect place to cool down on a hot summer day.
WEll captured the slow shutter gave good results.

Hi Tsilla

Missed this one. Good sharpness, colour & vertical framing on the impressive, single drop waterfall. I like the inclusion of the suspension bridge at the top of the frame juxtapositioned against the fg lookout. Excellent sharpness & fantastic motion blur of the water. Tfs!
