The Champcar GP of Montreal was on all week-end.

After being postposed due to heavy rain yesterday, the race finally resumed this morning at about 10:00 AM.

Sébastien Bourdais did a wise race as usual. He won for the first time in Montreal. He took a serious option to the Championship with that win. Another French pilot finished third Nelson Philippe.

Technically. Photo uncropped. I took a slower speed to capture the movement despite doing some panning here.
Photo taken on Saturday during second Qualifying session. Sébastien ended up with best time, therefore with pole position on both occasions. Despite having crashed his car on Saturday morning on the famous Quebec wall at the last chicane. Hats off to his team to have fixed his car so rapidly. This is a team work effort!

Cheers.
Robert

Hello Robert,
Nicely captured. Good panning to get it this sharp.
Nice bright colours. The whites look a little hot even with a polarizer, but that's a very minor nit. A fantastic action shot.
TFS. Have a great week.

HI Robert,
a wonderful shot, so sharp and close.
I love car-racings - special F1 with Schumi.
He had not much luck yesterday ;-(
Thanks and bye bye

Nice Robert,

Excellent capture of "Sea Bass" in action. The colors are beautiful and I love the movement captured here. Looks like you had a nice sunny day to complete the event. Congratulations to you for a nice action shot and to Sébastien for the victory!

Love and Peace Always
Kevin

Well done Sébastien. Good to see the sun Robert, and know that you didn't get wet on a 2nd day! Good catch,

Salut Robert,
Très belle capture de cette voiture avec l'effet de mouvement très présent. Les couleurs sont aussi parfaite.

Roberto ..Amigo.. I am not such a car race man(sorry)
but I like how you 'trapped' him highspeed with your camera. The Red colours add movement to this compo
Thanks and hasta la pasta ^_^
