Un incendie a détruit presque entièrement le Manège militaire de Québec, un des bâtiments historiques les plus importants de la Vieille-Capitale, vendredi soir.

Selon le réseau TVA, le feu avait endommagé une grande partie de l'imposant immeuble de la Grande-Allée, situé en face de l'immeuble du gouvernement du Québec appelé Complexe G, près du parlement.

Le chef des pompiers avait confié au réseau télévisé que ses effectifs tentaient de rescaper ce qui restait du bâtiment, soit environ le tiers.

L'incendie n'aurait fait aucun blessé, selon la chaîne LCN.

En ce qui concerne la photo, j'ai équilibré les couleurs du ciel pour accentuer l'effet de rouge.

Amazing capture, the light/colours are stunning and the sharpness is amazing, the silhouetted trees against that dangerous-red sky is an excellent touch.

I do wish the shot had been rotated a little, anticlockwise, to level it out, the tilt bothers me!

Hi,
This is a great piece of photojounalism, a good sharp shot with good colour, I like the silhouette of what looks to be another photographer and the trees against the fire in the background, I agree with Rew though about the tilt, a couple degrees anticlockwise rotation would sort that.

Quelle trajedie de voir une partie de notre patrimoine s'envoler en flammes.
Ta eu de la chance de pouvoir capter car on disait au nouvelle que aucun photographe apart la tele etait permis.
Une capture superbe.

You certainly were in the right place at the right time for this dramatic image.Well captured but I too would like to see the image straightened as the tilt is distracting. Excellent work!! Kind Regards, Pat.

AN absolutley incredible capture here, superb detail and textures, amazing lighting and the sky is really burning. I have to agree its such a shame it is not quite straight but aside from that its an awesome capture.
