Dear Dot,
A beautiful shot of the moon in B&W. Tried to get some shot myself, but none turn out good. The moon shines magnificently and the reflection is awesome too. The frame is nicely done. Simply beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice exposure Dot and SO hard to shoot the moonrise as it's moving like 1000mph as you can tell with the elongation of the moon here. But the reflections of the water are super nice and BW was a excellent choice here!

Voilà une photo comme je les aime : une belle lumière, une ambiance poétique un peu inquiétante. les petits nuages sur la lune ne sont pas du tout dérangeant au contraire.

PS I think I would have cropped a bit on the right to not have the moon in the middle of the composition and besides a square crop also looks attractive, or so I think.....

Hi Dot,much prefer this one with just a hint of cloud touching the moon,perfectly caught light as well as reflection on the river,you watch that wild life now,you certainly don't want to scare a skunk:)

I love this shot, it has a beautiful ambience about it. The rules would say the moon shouldn't be in the centre - but as i look at the photo i don't care about it's positioning - it is a wonderful photo bravo.
