Hi Dot,

Haha, god to hear about the co-operation you got here with your scanner ;-). It's by the way a difficult terrain you're getting yourself into - I mean, in a sense you're reproducing from a magazine and as such you are violating copyright... :-) I mean, there's no credits towards the magazine or any link to a reproduction rights agreement. And especially as a photographer you have to be careful to do things you wouldn't like happening to your own work.
Then again, very nice post processing work!! Photoshop X2. Funny name for Photoshop. Didn't hear about that one yet, but I guess they are creative in their naming.

Hello Dot, I am very impressed by the pp for this shot with a difference.The silhouette works really well against the sunset.
I read your processing and thought I would probably need someone sitting next to me talking me through this, or a fool's guide with step by step instructions.
The reflection and shadows are excellent.

WOW!! Incredible Dot! What a COOL picture. I will pass this on to Jerry! Unfortunately Texas-Eqquisearch is all too busy these day! It's very sad. Very good pp work to get this effect. The symmetry is really quite striking. My only question is about the cowboy riders, on land or water? Too near to water edge yet with no splash. But technical aside, very good work.

It's fun to read how much pleasure you derive from this hobby. I recently learned how to post a large panorama, though I need to "relearn" it because I've forgotten a couple things, if you did that you could even post really long photos . . . cool.
