Hi Sunil:)
Pickering.... there where some nice spots between Toronto and Kingston - some time I would like to go down the lake in Scarborough, nice lime stone formations are present close to boat marina.
OK now about your picture: - entirely is very good but that what is just stunning for me? - COMPOSITION!!!
- just brilliant way done here - I love how you frame this image, really great job, congrats.
Wish you great evening - Tom:)

Hi Sunil,
Great composition and natural looking colours, excellent DoF. TFS
Bri

Very nice Sunil - good composition and light. I think the grad filter PP works well.

I would have cloned out the tiny speck of boat in the distance - other than that a good shot.

DAVid

Beautiful POV and composition here of this scene with a wonderful title that really matches the story of this picture. Great use of DOf, wonderful colour/exposure and sharpness achieved. Well done and TFS!

regards,

Dilshan

Boa noite Sunil

Wow, Sunil,
you got some GREAT sharpness and detail at that large an aperture. I love all those darkish subdued colors and the graphism of the posts and the way they curve. Excellent composition and lovely contrast. Wonderfully moody shot and a good eye to see it. Nice work! Many thanks and kind regards,
Shelly

Hello Sunil,

Your sensitivity to composition is excellent!
The focus is sharp and you have captured wonderful textural details in the f/g.
I don't agree with David about cloning out the boat. To me, it provides the focal image to take the viewer from the f/g to the b/g.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Sunil,
A great composition with the ruins of this wooden pier!
Beautiful texture in the wet old wood!
Nice subdued lighting and sharpness.
An excellent control in exposure of such a difficult situation!
A super crop!
Well done,
Regards,

Francis Xavier

Hi Sunil

I like the repetition of the verticals, & the elongated 'c' shaped curve, of the row of poles & shoreline. The minimalist colour would lend itself well to a b&w conversion. Excellent sharpness & framing. Well done!

Hi Sunil,
You must be getting ready for your trip to SL. Its being raining for days here. But the weather should clear up by the time you get here. I like the tiered effect the stumps have. The overcast skies seem to go well with the antiquity of the pier.

hi Sunil,
this is great. good pov and beautiful composition. loved the sharpness, the texture, the natural colours..interesting use of gradient. tfs, take care.

regards,
Mayur

Hi Sunil,
Good eye--there's immediate interest here with the curve of the pilings in your frame superimposed on the constant horizon.
All the best,
Karen
