Very sharp Chris - great view with good colour, especially in the reflection!! An ND grad always works well with reflection style landscapes I find - but if you haven't got one the choice of the polarizer is great for enriching the colour as you did here..


I like how you've left a little beach in the FG too - gives depth.

Interesting notes!
A lovely shot, firstly from the colours, then from the contrasting horizontal layers, of differing textures which build up into a wonderful, complete composition. I love the rippling reflections and the colour links between the pebbles in the f/g to the mountains in the b/g.

Hi Chris,

The reflections on the water of the Patricia lake are assets to the composition. The point of view leads my eye toward the mountains which is giving depth to the photo. The trees are framing well the mountains and the lake. The morning light is enhancing the colors of the scenery. Have a nice day.

Hi Chris, It looks quite surreal, like a picture from a story book. Idyllic composition with the gravel in the foreground as a extra and welcome detail. The water colour and reflections add to its appeal. TFS. Murray.
