Matisse and My Lamp
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
You see here, my Matisse "Cut-outs" print and my table lamp. This is an exercise to try out my new Nikon 24-120 VR lens. I am quite happy with it so far. The Nikon VR lens like the Canon Anti Shake lens are heavier than the regular lens. I will use it extensively when I go to the Philippines at the end of this month.
PP: Adjusted Levels Control to darken it a little. Crop. |

Matisse, one of my favourite abstract painters. I tried once to paint on canvas just like him. It turned out not too bad. Your new lens seem to be working fine.

Nice graphism. Like the colors and the patterns. You hav the eye of an artist.
hi Andre! i like the abstract aspect of this photo, you've worked well with these shapes and colours to make a very interesting image. it's a pity the top of the lamp looks a bit overexposed though. i love the texture of the wall on the left side! the gradual retreat into darkness is very smooth.
