[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
Digitalis purpurea, aka Foxglove, is a hummingbird magnet. It's a Gardenwife magnet, too. The flowers are beautiful from a distance, but up close they are breathtaking.

When bees feed in them, the flowers act as megaphones, amplifying their buzzing. This tickles me. :)

I really like this shot. I recently took a few shots almost exactly like this. I found these flowers in Paris and had never seen them before. I really like your note. The macro detail of your shot is wonderful, you can even see the tiny little hairs!

A very nice shot,lovely details,colour and composition.
The ones in our garden are just beginning to open, its a pity we dont have Hummingbirds here to visit them.
Good work,very well done.

Excellent macro with beautiful textures and details. The vertical format is appropriate to capture the many patterns.

This is really a beautiful shot Kimberley, the arrangment of the three foxglove flowers make for an excellent composition, the focus and detail are wonderful as are the deep vibrant colours. You have done very well on this picture, everything is just perfect.
Well done, your note is interesting too.

Fantastic close up.The colors are great.I like the composition also and your note is very interesting.Yod

That one is also splendid. Wonderful color (I like the colors you chose). I stay here imagining on the wall into a very white bedroom...
What we could do more if you didn't have a rich imagination ?

Nice colors and patterns! The patterns remind me of a false-color jaguar (the animal).
