Mission mural on Harrison Street in San Francisco.
I've driven past this mural hundreds of times on my way to the swimming pool where I swim and finally decided today to get out my camera. It is actually ONE CITY BLOCK LONG and this is only one of the larger and magnificent paintings of an array of colorful and cultutrally rich images on the immense mural. The more I travel through my city, the more I see rich and interesting sites. That is one of things I like about belonging to this website, it opens your eyes to the world around you, not to mention the even greater world of the images of those all over this planet. Thanks TrekLens!
Hope you like it . . . more to come.
I mostly adjusted the brightness and pumped up the colors a bit. I felt it was important to leave in the sky and the leaves on the sidewalk for a touch of perspective and reality. The length of the mural was actually rather difficult to photograph because of the extreme contrasts caused by the shadows of trees and cars that were parked along the street.
I would be open to a workshop to remove the lampost shadows on this beautiful woman's arm. |

Excellent colours in the image Richard and an impressive piece of street art. A good strong daigonal in your POV and fine detail I like the fact that the taggers have not yet attaclked the mural. Well done,
