You caught him very well. DOF is right chosen, as well as diagonal composition, but you already know that :)

Hi Carey,

I've taken a stroll through your gallery and I'm very pleased with your shots... they all contain one sole characteristic; emotion. Now I have to say this photo really struck me in the fact that well... I can't pin point just what emotion this man is experiencing, and I don't mean to be sentimental, but I actualy cannot figure it out. The way his eyes are formed just doeasn't seem like he's.... 'just into the music' oh well doesn't mtter I suppose. Technically... this is a perfect shot, a good close crop- and the background places all the attention on him. I also like the cigarette in his mouth and his hair, adds character to him. :)
