|This is the top view of the Horseshoe bend. As you can see there is no way to see it unless you are standing on the edge. When my wife and I first cleared the hill from the parking lot. this was the view. I was perplexed for sure after seeing all the images online. But once again as soon as you step to the edge......you see what I saw on the previous post. |

After seeing your previous photos of the horseshoe bend, I understand this one.
Just a few steps from the famous meander of the Colorado river.
I like this pov, the people give a scale.
Great colors & contrasts.
It is a magical place, indeed, the immense power of nature.
