[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
There is a river of knowledge at our local Public Library; of course, with the introduction of the Internet we have a lot of that knowledge at our finger tips. Let’s learn something new, try something new, realize something about ourselves or understand why we are the way we are. IMO, understanding is the greatest form or learning.

Possibly, we could try to take a different type of photo or create an art-form of a photo…:) I know that’s a tough one on TL; I probably crossed the line there. :) If we try something different, we learn if we like it or not.

Thirty years ago, I had a college professor who taught me something, and I’ve never used it until now. He said to our class, “If you learn nothing else from me learn this: “Piloerection” is a goosebump.” This statement was so profound to me that I never forgot it. Of course, it seemed like useless information, but the way in which he made the statement made me remember.

If nothing else, let’s learn how to love more, or more importantly, learn how to express it more or in a different way.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Cudos to Francis for helping me understand something. The black looks like a wall. It is not a wall; it is a void waiting to be filled with knowledge. Had I created this impression better it would have been more obvious. Thanks Francis!

This is simply brilliant! The PP work makes it powerful and the contrasts made it jump right out of the thumbnail.
You made my popping by the gallery truly worthwhile today
Thanks

Dennis,

I know you can't see me, but I'm giving you a standing ovation for this! Brilliant, just brilliant. This is the kind of artistic process I love in pp photography. We've already had the "learning" discussion offline, so I won't bore everyone else by babbling on. Super job buddy!

Best,
Werner

Hi Dennis,
This is good creative work and proper PP work to produce such a piece of art!
Nice immagination and your note suits exactly to the composition!
I'm not happy with the black wall, I would have chosen a lighter color (perhaps light brown), anyway it's my humble openion!
Yes, it's a good effort, Dennis.
Well done.
Regards,

Francis Xavier

Amazing Dennis....A masterpiece of modern photography and philosophy! I love it!

Hello Dennis.
Yes it is an artistic creation, she reminds me a source of knowledge. A very nice composition, indeed it is rare in TrekLens. But you dare and I think it's successful. It is simply a text that explains just what you wanted us to see.
It is a masterpiece, as some painting or the artist's explanation helps us to discover.
A good weekend.
John

Dennis, what a GREAT interpretative photograph!! One of the best I've seen in a long time. As a photographer you sure are long winded in your comments! But, you explained yourself well and made great analogies as to why and how you thought up this great photo collage. Super shot! Wish it were mine!

HI Dennis
Its very good pp and I agree its a good way to learn how to see things different with our shots. You did good work
IMHO...The wall is a bit too obvious, lowering the opacity on it should work, and I think you should have feathered more the water that is splashing on the wall giving it more of a veiled effect and splashing a few dropplets on it here and there..
