Hi there Peter,
What more can I say? A truly wonderful image, my only critism would be that the bird in the foreground seems a little soft in contrast to the other bird, but still, I think this is a magnificent picture.

Absolutely brilliant!
The interaction between the birds is captured with sharp focus, despite the obvious rapid movements of the actors!

I have bird feeders too, and enjoy watching the antics of the birds. Sadly, I can't make them too accessible to the house as my cats would like nothing better than tasty blue tit, robin, sparrow, etc. for tea!

Hello Peter,I have never seen a sieve used in this way before, but what a great idea.
I think it is quite enterprising to make a special 'theatre' on which the birds can feed and you can take your pictures.
This is a lovely action shot,well balanced in the frame.

Nice picture and a good tip for wildlife photography - create a "feeding station" with a natural looking perch spot and just wait for the birds to come to you. With this shot I like the dynamic pose of the birds and the focus on the aggressive looking bird.
