Just this lonely sail boat in the bay at Whangateau.

I know that teqnically the boat should be facing the other way but I couldn't wat for the tide to change to get the boat to swing around, nature sometimes works againt you.

PP Work: This was done in photo shop using the Topaz Adjust plugin.

Thanks for looking

Textbook composition - very nice. Details and colours are great, although to the left part of the shot there are some pixellations that give the water a look as if oil had been spilled on it ...?
Nice job overall though, I really like the look of it!

Hi Ralph
The Topaz treatment has really brought the boat out well, but has destroyed the sky and water in the process which is a shame because it looks like a really peaceful scene. Do you shoot RAW Ralph? and if so
I wouldn't mind having a crack at post-processing this because I really like this scene.
Regards
Jim

Hello Ralph,

The composition is just about perfect.
Love how the boat is reflected, and the fact that its mast is completely backed by the trees.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello,

Yes Ralph sometimes u dont have enough time or opportunity to see things erectly the way u want so its good to have something rather then nothing :)

I like the composition and floating waves, the PP work is very good, i like the Topaz Adjust and it gives impressive results indeed :)

I am not only sure about the colors in the sky (a little parpol-ish)

Hi Ralph,
A nice and peaceful image the place breaths tranquility. Fine contrast and clarity, regarding the colours, I have the impression the clouds are too bluish. Nonetheless a great psting my friend!
