Lagunas dos Altiplanos Andinos


Situated in the middle of the Western Cordillera of the Andes, at an average altitude of 4600 meters, you will find a series of lagoons of breathtaking beauty. The lagoons are fed by the melting of the mountains and occasionally by rain in certain seasons. Are rich in minerals, which means that each has a particular color. Depending on the seasons, their colors vary, and the water level. They are rich in animal and plant life. They are inhabited mainly by migratory birds, especially the pink flamingos.

With the contrasting blues, browns, and white, it almost looks like a graphic rather than a photo. Amazing range. The cropping of the reflection doesn't really lessen the effect. Great photo. It looks cold there...

Perhaps a very slight crop at left, & a lower framing to include all of the reflection? Apart from that all is perfect. Good sharpness, colour & contrasts. Tfs!

I wish you were more far away from the scene to get the max.50/50 refection,but I amm not complaining ,because this looks superbe Sergio.
