Pancake Breakfast Special

Would you like warm Mayple Syrup and extra butter with this Pancake Breakfast Special? And how about a fresh cup of hot coffee, too?
Actually, of course, these are mushrooms! I was out searching for that strange orange insect hoping I might see him or another like him and found these mushrooms instead. In my imagination I saw a plate of yummy pancakes! Do you see the same thing?
In processing I've really tried not to do my usual and over process. I cropped original photo, did minor contrast corrections and used NI for noise control, which was rather bad on this picture. Photo is Macro taken with Oly E10 with use of tripod.
Be cautious about tasting these pancakes! And all comments and critiques are greatly appreciated. Thank you. :O) |

I just see the little bear in the movie eating the mushrooms and the subsequent hallucinating, lol! They sure do resemble little pancakes. Great eye for the fun pix Kat! God's best,

good colours,compo and contrast, but i don't know about the focus and sharpness thoug, it seems a bit overexposerd in the back to,that realy is a pity!!!
good shot anyway!

Nice shot... Nice pancakes and good title... The colours and contrast as well as your composition is good...
The right side of the picture seems to be not completely in focus and a bit overexposed...
Anyway, well done!

Wonderful colors for a very nice catch
I had my pitcher of maple syrup ready and I find fungi? Talk about disappointment ;) Well at least it's a good capture. I really like the colors and textures in this shot. Although I have to agree with Kirsten and lucky when they say that it is a wee bit overexposed on the right side.
