Why have I called this picture Cats Eyes?
You tell me!
Taken today at Beaulieu, in the New Forest, a bit of a misnomer if ever there was one.
The New Forest was created in 1079 by William I (known as William the Conqueror) as a hunting area, principally of deer. It is a unique area of historical, ecological and agricultural significance, and retains many of the rural practices conceded by the Crown in medieval times to local people. Principal of these is the pasturing of ponies, cattle, pigs and donkeys in the open Forest by local inhabitants known as Commoners. The New Forest has also been an important source of timber for the Crown. It is an outstanding recreational area for walking and riding.

Excellent! Bravo!
Michel

Nice soft image with a beautiful lighting on the foreground tree. Beautiful tones of yellow and green.
Well done Michael!

Réal

clean and crisp shot with an atmosphere of the surreal
the tree to the right is in perfect harmony with the sky and seems to be connected.

is there a moggie in the tree..:D

Fantastic shot again Micheal,
Even in Holland NewForrest is a famous spot. I'll bet you have a few more in store so I will keep an eye to this corner. Cheers
John

The cat is looking from the first waterpool.
My wife saw it immediately; so do I - now.
Nice deep focus Michael.
Painting view of old masters.
Thanks
Huub

Very good tree..

Beautiful landscape Michael, nicely composed with amazing light. Love the reflections in the pools of water.

Peter

very nice landscape. nicely taken shot. TFS.

Hi Michael,

That's a very beautiful photo and a lovely landscape!
The 'neat image' has done a terrific job here. Nice lighting and colours. Well done on the composition and TFS :)
Constantinos

Beautiful capture of a lovely landscape. Very nice composition and the colors are amazing! Just like a oil-painting!
Vassilis

Soft sensual landscape! I love it - chocolate box quality++. Technical this image scores a 10/10, emotionally even higher! Fantastic! The tree is perfectly isolated by the DOF and the soft BG-colours. TFS.

I see them! How did that happen - the trees, I guess, but a dainty feature!
Very reminiscent of somebody. Constable? It's certainly a painter's sky and that foreground tree fits the bill, too.
The word has been over-used but here it goes again - idyllic.
