The Great Ocean Road is one of Victoria's, and Australia's, premier tourist drives.

It stretches for about 300km from Torquay, a coastal town near Geelong, along rugged coastline and surf beaches, through rainforests and farmland, and then back to the coast.

There are many scenic places of interest in Port Campbell National Park, which is located at the end of the Great Ocean Road, including many limestone outcrops, the most famous of which are the Twelve Apostles.

This is a view of some of the outcrops from one of the vantage points.

Hi Peter

Wonderful lighting & color, on this spectacular coastline. I did a daytrip there years ago from Melbourne. I will link to a London Bridge shot for you.

Very good peter,
Soft blue color is emotional,
Thanks,
Ali...

Amazing seascape, masterfully captured. I like the two different lighting schemes one halfe in the sun and the second half in the shade. Beautiful colors and great composition.

Hi Peter,
What a beautiful seascape. The cliffs along this coast are impressive. It looks like the sun ligh didn't help you along much, creating this shadow in the front and the bright part in the back. Which makes for a difficult exposure. But, you did good.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Peter,

A different view than we normally see of that stretch of coastline, most shots I have seen have been looking westward. Lovely colour and light and an excellent POV. There are no longer Twelve Apostles, I wonder when they will change the name. Yet another crumbled a couple of years back leaving, I think, eight. TFS,
David
