I took many exposures trying to capture at least one thunderbolt... but all the lightning occurred in a higher layer of clouds. so, all I got is an unreal blue night sky and traces of light left not by an UFO as you'd like to believe, but an UMO (unidentified moving object, I'm not good at cars - model, year, make...)

Good morning Cal

Well thats a coincidence as I sat last night watching a huge electrical storm here and cursing that i have not yet ben able to get my new camera. The ones I currently sue do not have the option to hold the shutter speed long enough to capture lightening. I love this posting its very dark but a beautiful blue tone. Looks very menacing and powerful.

I did post an image this morning and realised I had posted the wrong one so deleted it. this means I cannot post again until tomorrow so silly me I should have just left it.

Hi Cal,

That little light from the house, add values to the darkness of the left part, and shows how scary this condition. Excellent composition of the dark and car's light that moves fast to the other end. Great shot my friend.

Hi Cal,
I'm glad you are not good at cars. I don't care too much for them either. They only should take you from point A to point B safely, they manage to do it most of the time but also statistically they are the main menace hunting us and also one of the main causes of the meteorologic end of the world that seems to come. In your picture too!
