I have seen several of these in my yard but seem elusive to get a photo. This one was on flowers in Nashville Indiana while on vacation. This was the high lite of the trip for me, the shops were for my wife! Being at the mercy of a new camera I relied on the auto macro mode for this shot & also think the lens may have been a little foggy from being in an AC shop then out in the hot humid weather. I did some extra sharpening on the foliage & butterfly. Thanks to all who view or critique! Hope you enjoy! :} Don

This shot has worked out well, the colours are very rich and the detail on the wings of the butterfly very sharp and clear.

I think the whole photograph comes together very well. The individual sharpening means you have lovely crisp images which show off well against the blurred b/g. The colours and the composition are very good.
