[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
No tragedies here, this line was for the "Pit schack" (lunchroom, shower, lockers)in an old open pit mine.
The mine closed about 20 years ago and it is the only visible thing remaining in the pit. The mill is still standing about one mile away.

ISO 400 and 400mm

PP: remove color cast, contrast, sharpening(10%),noise (50%) and crop

This is interesting. Love the water colour and the note explaining it. Good work :) Simple, yet effective

Funny title! And yes, there is a tragedy here. I thought Canada had some law that mining companies had to rebuild the landscape once they finished mining. Or is it too recent a law to affect this mine? The water is so beautiful. You would think someone would plant some grass and turn it into a park or something. My cousin worked in an open pit mine in Alberta that looked even prettier when they left than before they started, and had all sorts of wildlife visiting it.

Bonjour Marc,
Excellent point de vue de ce poteau oublié dans le pit mine, belle photo et jolies couleurs.. mes salutations
Michel

This is truly water power! Need discover and share. Does that pole have any of those old glass insulators? They have some value.

HA! This happens here in Texas! They dig, and dig...then hit a spring....BOOM...it's all gone! What a SHOCK to those who ventured into the water! Very nice shot here Marc!

Incroyable!
