Hi Daniel, this one reminds me of uncounted evenings and nights at the borders of the river Cam in Cambridge, with the boats, the lights, a warm summer night and some folks stopping on the bridges for a talk or just to pause for some moments remembering the ol' times when these boats were used for transport.... Great mood captured, everything and everybody calms down before the night comes in, floating memories of the day....

I have always found your technique interesting - f stop and shutter speed. The results speak for themselves. Those folks were really cooperative for that time period. Color is impressive - Bravo

Lovely reflections Daniel! and I love the low angle...

For a moment I was wondering what happend to the sky... around the branches te sky looks a bit white...
I once took a picture of the early morning sky with trees and I had the same problem. Especially after sharpening the image.
I wonder if there is anything we can do to prevent this...... do you have ideas about this?

Wow! This has two feels to it, Daniel. The soft romantic look around the trees and bridge and the clear glowing lights of the boats and the reflections. What a terrific combination. .

again the manual settings made a nice image Daniel,the colors and softness of the river canal, the star like effect on the lights came out as i like it most, you can not achieve this effect on DSLR unless you use the star filter on the lens at long exposures,hey! you're lucky that the two guys did not move much long enough.well done.

Hi Daniel, thank you for sharing this great photograph. Wonderful clarity and a really serene scene. The sharpness is exceptional. The composition is a bit too crowded. There's definitely a leading line, but there isn't really a subject that it leads to that stands out more than others on the frame. Overall though, it's a tour de force on exposure and metering!

I haven't figured out how to get my camera to shoot longer than 30 seconds........ or doees it do it automatically! This is super! I'm surprised at the 150 ISO....Silke and I tried 1600ISO at Niagara falls and still had LOTS of trouble with exposures...well...the wind was blowing 30mph! HAHA!
