A few days ago on one of my afternoon walks through the gardens of our complex I saw this hibiscus with the strange yellow colour that almost reminded me of old parchment. I have taken photos from the same bush last year that was completely different in colour. So this must have something to do with the rainy weather, cooler days (for summer that is) and subsequently less sunlight that we had the past month.
I just loved the colours and apart from adding a very small border the photo is straight from camera without any editing of the colours because I wanted to show off the colours as they were at the time that I took the photo.
The colours look quite different when colours when saturated. (I added a workshop to show the saturated colours.) It was taken just before sunset in low light conditions, hand held without a flash.
Would ike to know if anyone isfamiliar with similar colours in a hibiscus?
