[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
I have been trying out some techniques for high density resolution photo's recently, three exposures are taken usually about three stops apart and then the resultant images are combined. I am particularly pleased with this image because it represents how it was on the evening I took the photograph, the sunset was truly spectacular. Your comments would be appreciated.

Hi David,

Great composition, great ruin wall, great sunset, well presented...guess I like it!
Maybe the wall could be a tad sharper but that's abou it. Good posting!

Hope you post more often!

Regards,

Edwin

Hi David,
I would be pleased too if i had taken that picture .Pretty well done ,i would have liked to see more of the farthest wall and a tad more sharpening though .The sunset colors are just perfect ,i mean perfect ! A great moment and a wonderful place to be under such condition ,

Hi David,

Love the sunset, nice colours..it sets the mood there. Good work, may i know how do you take three exposure?

Hello David,

I've played-around with HDR's myself so I know how difficult it is to get the balance just right. You've done a marvelous job on this one as you've maintained a good level of reality. IMHO, many HDR's are too plastic or too much like paintings.

Well done!

Shane.

The lighting in the background and on the subject is fantastic. The fine detail on the ground is superb as well. A very nice photograph.

The sunset gives both a sense of calm and peace with magnificence of ancient (roman, isn't it?) ruins.
I absolutely like also the contrast between the green in the field and the soft colors in the sky.
Lighting on the facade is superb!

Very well done David. It is a technique I have used often myself. Good job on composition as well.

Hi David,
A fine impression of these ruins, well captured and exposed in the nice black frame. Well done my friend, an attractive posting.
Hans

beautiful indeed!! my really compliments, a great capture.. i like expecially the delicate colours.. compo is perfect with light!! bravo!
ciao Marco
;) soon

David,
You've every reason to be happy with this one. Unlike so many combined exposure shots it still retains a sense of reality - it looks like a real scene - although, perahps, it could be a little sharper - a little less "smooth". (A minor critisism, really :)

Regards
Colin
