flying fingers . . . a tribute to my son

this is pretty much a snapshot. people crowded around me, artificial lights, no flash, no tripod; it was not focused (ahem). The shot just has so many flaws so I messed around with PP a little. cropped it, selected the hands and tried to sharpen a bit, selected the background and put a bit of a textured filter on it. It's really just a pic for me, for the mood, for my son who plays this piece to utter perfection : )

. . . roll over, Beethoven

yeah, romanticism forever!!
interesting choise - textured filter on the piano:)
(i like piano sound and like images about these instruments too:)

Well done! There's a great mood in your photo regardless of it being a snapshot or not. The pp work looks great!
Congrats on your son too ;-)

Nice save, ck. I like the skin tones repeated in other parts of the shot, and the parallelism between his arms and the wooden frame in the back of the piano.

Fur Elise is one of my favorites to play, too. :)

Hi CK,
It's amazing what a little pp can do isn't it? Looks very good.
