This B&W is well appropriated for this.
I wonder why you used oversharpening whereas you added some grain? This is just a question because I think that the effect is just a bit strong...just an idea!!

Oh, oh that Dutch couple then really needed a break - imagine that - tropical temperatures in Norway - years ago we also had a heatwave when visiting Oslo, had to jump in the fountain of the Vigeland park to cool down with the children.
Lovely moment Pablo, although I think you oversharpened the picture.

So you added noise on this one ... it actually works well ... I can't pinpoint what it is but the image looks great. The effect is like an old photo using a high ISO film. Well composed ... excellent work! tfs

Nice B&W shot of the woman having a drink and smoke at rest stop. It is very interesting to meet people when on travel and you are observant to study the car plate number, especially now able to drive around in Europe freely.

Early this year, before we trekked the national park jungle in Sabah, we met a Swedish couple who came in and out without hours. We met them few days earlier at Mt Kinabalu summit too. Very adventurous visitors, but that was why they came to Borneo for the natural trails. tfs

Love the extreme contrasts here Pablo, almost High-key, not quite. It the scene of everyday life that makes this shot really nice. The dogs attention almost says, "Let's GO, I don't have time to sit!" Really nice work Pablo!

Interesting "moment in time" capture. As a former smoker, I do recall those moments well.
The black and white treatment, the position of the woman and the stance of the dog all make for a wonderful image--as does the styrofoam cup and straw sitting and waiting.

Hi Pablo: poor doggie, sweltering in the heat, and then: second hand smoke!
Well composed b/w shot (horizontals, verticals and diagonals intersect accd to golden rule). I do question however if the sharpening was necessary. I'd prefered it a bit softer.....

The woman looks hot and weary. Yet the dog, with it's "fur coat" looks active and ready to play. Perhaps it's because he doesn't smoke!! :)

Very nice shot of the two enjoying their break. The black and white works very well here. I do wish she had a bowl of water for the pup!

Nice composition taking advantage of lady`s placement at the corner.
As a suggestion, I would have cropped a little of the bottom ground to force the eyes over the lady and dog, even more.
