[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
Hello Freinds,

I went out with my camera today for the first time in ages, I went to Bolton Abbey and was frankly disapionted with the results (I am out of practice). I had to pay £3 to park my motorbike then discovered a free bike park round the corner. So having paid my money I was determind to post at least one shot.

I chose this because it was the best of a fairly average set of shots. I used a filter (tabbaco grad) on the sky then in PP I cloned out a few people on the path and added the red smoke useing the clone tool on the sky.

I will post the original in a workshop so you can see it if you wish.

Thanks for looking

Tom

This remember me a word of my son when he was little : "look dad, a factory of clouds !" Funny effect, nice colours and POV. Good work !

Super exploration in processing Tom.
I love the color contrast of red sky and the light green grass.
You placed the horizon line perfectly int he verticle frame.
Well done.

Hi Tom,

Quite frankly, I don't know what to say about this photo. I'm not so keen about the sky colour as a result from your filter. But I guess that is just a matter of taste though, it does add a touch of humour in the photo. Somehow the addition of the red smoke doesn't blend well with the rest of the whole scene. Well, at least it looks much more fun rather that having just a dull featureless sky.

TFS.

Regards,
Alvin

Hey Tom! Well done on that pretty unusual shot! Good p work and a well composed image, well done, thanks!

Mario

I like the pp work in the sky, but to me it's really obvious where you've cloned the people off the path. On the other hand, the empty path leads the eye in nicely. But you're right, you can do better than this!
Cheers, John.

LOL
Okay - you agree with Alvin - am I allowed to disagree with both of you?
I think this is fun! There is a Martian/sci-fi/fantasy air to this image that I find quite amusing and more than a little daring.
I happen to like it
