Haniwa (clay figures), which were placed around the tombs of nobles in ancient Japan, functioned as decoration for the tomb mound. This particular piece, which I found at a local archeological site, was leaning against a stone coffin placed for display. I found the figure's facial expression quite amusing.

I enjoy it very much. Symbolic object have an attirance with me. I enjoy that one. Can inagine the funeral procedure almost. Connection to the past...
