Columbia Street Scenes
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
This posting from Columbia State Historic Park contains three street scenes from the Park's main street. The first is the front of the operating general store, the second includes various business signs including one of the many iron doors, and the third the entrance to the Barber Shop. Almost every business during the Gold Rush Era was protected by an iron door to keep out the "bad guys".
Been out of town for almost a week, ill take a couple of days to catch up, thank you for your patience. |

This reminds me of some of the old towns here in Texas, where they convert the historic district into a tourist area! Nice details, love the 3 pics in 1 work here Daniel! Your colors are very rich!

Hi Daniel,
Three wonderful photos from the old USA. I love the old style of buildings and the relics form the past add to this great mood. The 3 in 1 makes the entire presentation even more valuable.

Nice triptych, Dan. You did some sort of time travel, hope you did not meet those bad guys the iron doors were meant to keep out...

Tibi

I like the triptych presentation for these images, pulling together three different POV's and compositions for the sense of an pleasant stroll down the main street, taking in all these scenes. Interesting details to see enjoy:)
