in this shot and following 5 shots, in spite of different motives, I can find your common sharpened feeling to see the hidden space in the shadows of the B&W images.
in this shot, eyes and concerns in the black wear, and the bar stopping those.
eyes don't move though the walking passenger's time rapidly pass.
