I love the lines of light and shadow on the ground Edward.
I like how they come in from the left side and extend down to the lower right.

Nicely composed shot Edward, love the boldness of the large tree on the left.

The shadows that it is casting really make the shot, and you have caught them perfectly. A tricky exposure I would have thought but you have got it spot on.

Excellent composition here, the left tree act as a fine post for the compsosition, the shadows are stunning in this iamge. The light is the most important factor here and is well managed. The image shows a fine mysterious mood of the forest.

Hi Edward,
The massive tree with all its brances created an awesome play of light and shadows. The open area around the tree allowed to witness this perfectly. Forest photography can be very difficult because the difference in exposure are huge. You did excellent and kept good control in the details in both highlights and shades.

What a beautiful 3D landscape. Very pretty colors and lighting. Leaving the dark big tree in that position was an excellent choice, because its roots and branches make our eyes to travel to the rest of the forest. An enjoyment for my eyes and my soul. TFS
