[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
My daughter took a year off to spend it at the Inti Wari Yassi animal refuge. Between walks with pumas and ocelots, she cared for free-ranging capuchin, spider, and squirrel monkeys. This capuchin, perhaps the smartest monkey species of all, was not only curious, but a pick-pocket and unpredictable. One day, after months of friendly contact, it bit my daughter in the arm. The wound inflicted by its Dobermann-sized canines nearly severed her radial nerve. She was partially paralyzed for over a year! Beware of cute capuchins!
