| Présentation: | I am a retired biology teacher 63 years young today (it's my birthday)... so this membership is a present to myself... ;) I have been an amateur photographer since I was 15 years old... photographer for my high school public relations club and have exhibited in a local gallery. For several years I had my own B&W semi-professional darkroom (35mm format) and used a Leica Visoflex II camera with a 65mm macro lens and later a Contax RTS with a 25, 50, and 200mm lens. I now have gone digital with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20 with a 12X zoom Leica lens. I do an online daily devotional called SonRays at sonrays.org (I use a photo with each of the devotionals... most of the photos are mine however I have used (with permission) photos of others.) I hope to learn from others as I view the fantastic photos available here. I hope to also post one a day of my work. Larry | |
